We all have read various benefits of Aloe Vera in the other article Aloe Vera - A Medicinal Herb. We all are aware that Aloe as a herb is also a very excellent beauty agent. Along with various skin and hair benefits, I have mentioned a handful of additional uses of Aloe vera, which you will find very useful and handy.

Antioxidants & Antibacterial: 

Antioxidants are very important for the human body. They help in building the immunity of the body. It helps in increasing the metabolism of the body, which again helps to lose weight within a few weeks. Aloe Vera is also rich in antioxidants and provides the above mentioned benefits, if we consume aloe juice every morning with an empty stomach. 


Aloe Vera is also used as an antibacterial and antiseptic asset. So, Aloe Vera gel is applied on cuts and wounds to increase the healing process. It also removes unwanted scars too. 


Detoxifying and Dehydration: 

We all know that Aloe Vera leaf contains a lot of water in it. To detoxify our body, Aloe juice will help. This will help kidneys and liver to function in a better way and will keep it healthy, as kidneys play a very important role in removing unwanted substances to keep our body clean. Intake of Aloe juice will help in increasing the water level in our body suffering from dehydration (after doctor’s consult) and helps in removing toxins effectively after doing exercise, playing any outdoor games.


Skin care: 

There are many organic products which sell Aloe vera gel on many e-commerce websites. On Amazon, the few pure organic Aloe vera gel that you can use for your skin and hair care. For skin Aloe Vera is one of the best organic products to use for many purposes as mentioned below. 

  • In research, it is found that usage of Aloe vera on skin will increase the moisture on the skin. Application of it on face will keep face glowing, as the moisture content will increase. 

  • It will also help in maintaining and increasing of Collagen level, which helps in reducing the ageing and keeps our skin healthy. 

  • Aloe vera mixed with Vitamin E will be more beneficial for reducing acne. If not possible, simple application of aloe vera gel on the acne will help in reducing it very efficiently.

  • Aloe gel can also be used as moisturizer. As it has plenty of water content and is rich in Vitamin C which will help in cleanse the skin by keeping it moisturizer. 

  • Drinking aloe juice will help in increase in facial glow, as it is rich in antioxidants, which takes part in purifying blood and makes skin glow.

  • Aloe gel can also be used as makeup primer and makeup remover. Also, after removing the makeup, apply Aloe gel on your face before sleeping. This will help your skin to breathe properly and will moisturize the skin at the same time.


Hair care: Using Aloe gel on your hair will be super cool and the best resulting remedy for keeping your hair soft, shiny and healthy. 

  • One part of aloe gel mixed with half of its water and applying it on hair after wash will act as serum and will keep hair moisturized and silky.

  • You can keep this serum, to detangle your hair before comb. This will again help to reduce the hair fall.

  • Application of aloe gel (taken directly from aloe leaf) with coconut oil and onion juice on the scalp will enhance the hair texture, hair fertility which is very important for hair growth. Keeping this mask for an hour and washing it off with shampoo. For better results you can use organic shampoo, which will be sulphate and paraben free shampoo.
