Less demanding plant:
Choose a container with drainage: Any of the Succulents including Echeveria need less water and for that we need a pot with a good water drainage system.
For this, we need a container which has a hole in the bottom, to drain the excessive water.
Soil:
For preparing the soil we should take 1/3rd garden soil, 1/3rd any compost and 1/3rd river sand.
This soil mixture will help to drain the excessive water and plants can get an etiquette amount of nutrition and water in the correct proportion.
Choose a healthy one: While purchasing this plant (or any succulent), we should choose a healthy one. The plant should be free from insects, should have bright green leaves and doesn't have dead and soggy foliage.
Watering:
We always need to remember that, Echeveria or any kind of succulents doesn't demand much water.
So, for watering, first we need to check if the soil still contains water. This can be done by touching the soil and if the soil is sticking to our hand, then delay watering for a couple of days.
Over watering will result in dying out the roots and leaves will become soggy which can cause dying of the plant sooner.

Sun light:
Any variety of succulents need a correct amount of sunlight, which will help these plants to grow. In a similar manner, Echeveria also needs morning sunlight, for 3-4 hours to grow efficiently.
To get at least 3-4 hours of sunlight daily, we can place this plant indoors in such a place where the sunlight is accessible for a good amount of time.
If we keep this plant in complete sunlight then moisture in its leaves will start drying up and within some days it’s leaves will start shrinking.
On the other hand, if we will keep it indoors and do not provide sunlight, then it will result in falling off all its leaves.
Fertilization:
Echeveria is a very satisfactory plant. It needs maximum two time fertilization, either organic or liquid manure. The best periods are in March and September.
In case we are unable to provide liquid fertilizer, this plant will grow healthy with just twice fertilization per year, watering and with proper sunlight.
Repotting:
Generally we do repotting only when, plant is not able to get an adequate amount of nutrients from the existing pot, the reason being the pot or the container will be small to provide adequate nutrients and water.
However, not only Echeveria, but every succulent has very thin and small roots. So, we don’t have to frequently change the pot as they don’t have a tendency to grow very fast.
Prevention from bug/fungus:
Sometimes we can experience the attack of little bugs or fungus on the leaves of Echeveria.
To get rid of these pests, we can immediately contact the near plant pathology.
If it is not possible, then we can take a cotton bud with a small amount of alcohol and remove these bugs or fungus attack.

Adds up the oxygen level:
Other plants release carbon dioxide at night. But Echeveria or any succulent do not have a tendency to release carbon dioxide at night, rather they continue to release oxygen.
This results in an increase in oxygen level indoors. We can keep Echeveria in our bedrooms, so that while sleeping we’ll still get the oxygen rich air.
Helps in increase in concentration and memory:
It is found that while experimenting the concentration power between two students for one week, one has been provided Echeveria and other didn’t. And noticed that the student having Echeveria was more focused than the other one.
Along with this, it’s noticed that the student having the plant was performing better than the other student.
Keeping Echeveria at the student's study table or at the workplace, will enhance concentration power with efficiency in work and better performance in studies, as only by viewing nature's bliss one can be able to do anything in an efficient way.
